Here, I am working from a 4x6 inch photograph that I took one Spring of some blossoms on my apple tree.
I began with a pencil drawing. On this particular painting, I worked from left to right. That way my hand is not in my work.
The flowers are done very delicately. The colors are soft and pastel on the petals. I use multiple washes until I get just the effect that I want.
Hmmmm. Well I finished the painting. I became so engrossed while painting it that I forgot to take more in progress shots. I called it "Blossom Brilliance".
